چکیده
This work relates to the reliable generalized predictive control issues in case when actuator or sensor failures take place. The experimental results that form basis from which conclusions are drawn have been obtained position of a servo drive task, and extend prior research author, dedicated velocity problems. On numerous experiments, it has shown configuration prediction horizons is most advantageous performance viewpoint adaptive framework, cope with latter failures, related minimum deterioration comparison nominal, i.e., failure-free, case. study main novelty presented work, as other papers available field rather focus on additional modifications not leaving possible room for optimization/alteration horizons’ values. experiments conducted laboratory stand Modular Servo System Inteco connected mechanical backlash module cause actuator/sensor failure-like behavior, magnetic brake show an unexpected load.

Hemodynamic Control using Direct Model Reference Adaptive Control Experimental Results
Regulation of hemodynamic parameters is a challenging problem, due to interand intra-patient variability, drug interactions, evolving patient condition, and in the case of simultaneous control of mean arterial pressure and cardiac output, tight coupling between the two variables. This requires a controller that can adapt to conditions as they evolve, and without the need to tune the controller ...
متن کاملExperimental Results for Kalman Filter Modification in Adaptive Control
Modern flight control systems are expected to perform beyond their conventional flight envelopes and exhibit robustness and adaptability to uncertain environments and failures. Adaptive control has been shown to improve the performance of a flight control system in the presence of uncertainties and failures. It is well known that modification to standard laws such as e-modification, σ-modificat...

متن کاملAdaptive Tuning of Model Predictive Control Parameters based on Analytical Results
In dealing with model predictive controllers (MPC), controller tuning is a key design step. Various tuning methods are proposed in the literature which can be categorized as heuristic, numerical and analytical methods. Among the available tuning methods, analytical approaches are more interesting and useful. This paper is based on a proposed analytical MPC tuning approach for plants can be appr...
متن کاملAdaptive iterative learning control for robot manipulators: Experimental results
In this paper, two adaptive iterative learning control schemes, proposed by A. Tayebi [2004, Automatica, 40(7), 1195–1203], are tested experimentally on a five-degrees-of-freedom (5-DOF) robot manipulator CATALYST5. The control strategy consists of using a classical PD feedback structure plus an additional iteratively updated term designed to cope with the unknown parameters and disturbances. T...
